It will be desirable for Dr. Doberck to be attached to the Observatories at Greenwich & Kew some little time before proceeding to the Colony, and shall be whether I be mistaken if the Observatories are sufficiently advanced to render Dr. Doberck's presence useful at Greenwich or Kew or whether the various arrangements should be forwarded and the proper steps taken to allow Dr. Doberck to commence drawing the salary of his Appointments from the date at which he may be attached to either of the Observatories I have mentioned.
